After most of the kids in Piscataway High School boarded their buses for home, one group of cadets stayed behind. The cadets of the Kitty Hawk Honor Society had one task, which was to clean up the cemetery.
The graveyard belongs to the Fitzrandolph family, the people who sold their land to Piscataway Township so they could build a school on it. The graveyard is on the school property, right by the entrance of the senior parking lot. Some tombstones to this day are still readable, and hold an intriguing past.
The cadets wasted no time, as they utilized bags to pick up any litter on the ground. Before they knew it, the graveyard was spotless. The cadets then headed back inside to resume their normal day.
