Piscataway High School Kitty Hawk Air Society
Kitty Hawk Air Society, also known as KHAS, is the honor society exclusively for AFJROTC cadets that encourages high ethical, scholastic, and civic values in its members. The prerequisites for joining are a 3.0 (85%) or above GPA and a sincere desire to serve the community.
Some of the activities that KHAS participates in are:
-Tutoring cadets in the Corps
-Making a strong showing in School Activities such as "The Haunted High School"
-Academic Challenge competitions with the Drill Team
-Aiding in the decorum of our campus by cleaning up litter and fixing up the School.
Alongside benefits that come with engaging in these activities, cadets will also receive a KHAS badge.
For the 2021-2022 School Year, the commanders for the Kitty Hawk Air Society are:

· Deputy Kitty Hawk Air Society Commander: C/Capt Matthew Hagg

Kitty Hawk meetings take place once a month and are always mandatory.
The opportunity to gain service hours is always available. Be informed on the events because as a member of KHAS, you are expected to complete 15 hours of community service.
