NJ-761 Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps
Welcome to the website for Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit NJ-761 located at Piscataway High School in Piscataway, NJ. Our Corps encompasses over 150 cadets under the instruction of Lieutenant Colonel Richard Kerr (retired) and Master Sergeant Brian Morehouse (retired). Our Corps maintains a service and scholastic oriented Kitty Hawk Honor Society and a multi-trophy winning Drill Team. Cadets wear uniforms on Thursdays and Physical Fitness Training is on every G Day. Throughout the year, cadets have the opportunity to attend field trips to places such as: the West Point Military Academy, the Naval Academy, and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. During the summer, cadets have the opportunity to take part and experience the Cadet Leadership Course (CLC); an intensive program hosted at Fort Dix, NJ and run by several AFJROTC units across the state with volunteers from ROTC colleges.
AFJROTC fosters the development of leadership, patriotism, and discipline embodied in the AFJROTC Core Values of Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do, as well as its Mission Statement, to develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community.
