After the bell rang at the end of the day, cadets headed to F114 to meet up before going out the to the grave yard to clean and tidy it up. It was a windy day, but many cadets still showed up to help clean. We picked up trash we saw laying around in the enclosed grave yard. At the end of the day, we came back in with 3 big bags filled with trash.
Why did we clean this grave yard up? Well the graveyard belongs to the Fitzrandolph family, the people who sold their land to Piscataway Township so they could build a school on it. The graveyard is on the school property, right by the entrance of the senior parking lot. It's quite an historical place and some tomb stones are still standing and legible, while others are toppled and the engraved words are no longer there.
