To start the New Year off right, the cadets of Piscataway high school's AFJROTC program are bringing the year in with another cadet assembly! For the first cadet assembly of 2017, Lieutenant Brittany Herits has come to visit us to tell us all about her life and the transition from civilian life to military life. Lieutenant Brittany Herits is a military lover from Metuchan, NJ who aspired to be a pediatrician but soon learned to love being a family medical physician. She now serves in the marine corps and loves it. Even though that's no surprise because she probably was going to love it anyways since, from the age of a little girl, she knew what she wanted to do already. No back up plan was going to stop her, Lieutenant Herits knew where she wanted to be.
From January 13th's cadet assembly many of the cadets learned that with the right amount of determination and grit we can get to where we want to be in life no matter what. Persistence is key. So lets pursue our goals like Lieutenant Brittany Herits!
